Hours: Full Time (36 hours a week) Day Shift/Night Shift
The registered nurse is accountable for the delivery and supervision of safe, quality care that is individualized for their assigned patients and follows the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act (assessment, planning implementation, evaluation). She/He is responsible for the assessment, treatment and care of patients in populations and ages as assigned. The registered nurse accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of nursing practice. She/He will access, analyze, customize, coordinate and communicate the patient's plan of care and activities collaboratively with other members of the health care team. Families and or significant others will be included within the plan of care as appropriate. She/He will direct, delegate and manage the care delivered by colleagues and subordinates. The registered nurse performs all duties in a manner that respects and supports the family centered care model. Collegial and collaborative care will reflect the philosophy of the Division of Nursing, the Mission and Core Values of the sisters of our hospital, and National Patient Safety Standards.

Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
1 year Nursing experience.
