Direct Support Professional
Location: Paramus, NJ
Looking for multiple self-directed employees for a young man living in his own home. He enjoys going on walks, arts and crafts, and venturing out into his community. Keeping him busy and engaged is required.
Attention to detail and schedules are important to him as well as his family. Employees must be willing to be outside in all types of weather and provide transportation using their own vehicle.
Training will be provided. Experience working with people developmental disabilities and anxiety is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule:
- Flexible schedules for the right candidate. Per Diem as needed.
Salary: $25 per hour
The employee must be willing to have a background check and drug screen done. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation.
Payroll will be managed through Public Partnerships.
Job Types: Part-Time, Per diem
Salary: $25.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- On call
- Overnight shift
- Weekday and Weekends
Experience:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities: 1 year (Required)
- Experience with following behavior plans and using de-escalation.
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle for transportation. Background check, fingerprints and drug screening are required.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week

- Weekends as needed
