Job Description

Einstein Tutoring is seeking dedicated and knowledgeable tutors to join our team in Worcester. This position requires in-person interaction and is not suitable for remote applicants. As a tutor with Einstein Tutoring, you will play a crucial role in guiding and enhancing the educational journey of our students.

Duties

• Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions with students across various subjects and grades.
• Evaluate student's current knowledge and skills to tailor-make learning plans that cater to their individual needs.
• Develop engaging, interactive lessons that are in sync with the student's curriculum and educational objectives.
• Employ a variety of teaching techniques and resources to suit diverse learning styles.
• Track and report student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and their parents/guardians.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and parents/guardians to pinpoint areas needing improvement, and strategize for academic enhancement.
• Keep precise records of tutoring sessions, including attendance, progress metrics, and focal points.

Experience

• Proven experience in an educational setting working with students.
• Expertise in curriculum design and the implementation of instructional strategies.
• Knowledge of classroom and behavior management techniques.
• Background in early childhood education, adult education, or special education will be considered an asset.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and software.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 30 per week
