Einstein Tutoring is seeking a dynamic and experienced tutor to support a sixth-grade student in math and English. This in-person position requires mentoring and tutoring the student in a conducive learning environment, ideally located near or at Newburyport Library.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to a sixth-grade student in math and English.
- Develop personalized learning plans to address the student's academic needs and goals.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic growth.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to engage and inspire the student.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and goals.
**Requirements:**
- Previous tutoring experience, preferably with middle school students.
- Strong proficiency in math and English.
- Ability to be innovative and adaptable in teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable means of transportation to the tutoring location near Newburyport Library.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, English, or related field.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with curriculum standards for sixth-grade math and English.
