Duties :

Under the general supervision of the Account Services AVP, performs a variety of clerical duties necessary to ensure the effective operations of Account Services in conformance with the established policies and procedures of Rockland Federal Credit Union.

• Performs remote deposit capture maintenance.
• Processes mailed in deposits and loan payoffs.
• Processes verifications for Social Security and Medicare.
• Performs address change maintenance.
• Logs and distributes overnight packages from UPS and Federal Express.
• Provides coverage for posting lock box rejects. Enters into the CDM decisions on whether to process or return payments via overnight mail.

• Images branch checks, repairs and balances check batches.
• Performs research relative to all employee and member requests, such as : copies of statements, check deposits, withdrawal slips etc.
• Performs day-to-day departmental functions including but not limited to incoming, outgoing and returned mail processing, sorting mail for internal departments, preparing mail for the lock box courier and preparing, logging, posting outgoing certified 1st class mail.
• Additional duties as required.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of Rockland Federal Credit Union products / services. Ability to communicate effectively with members and staff both in person and by phone.

Ability to perform work with accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to remain flexible and aware of department needs.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook e-mail.)

Schedule : Full time; 40 hours a week with a rotating Saturday every 6 weeks.
