EIG Property Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager.
We are a growing company and looking to expand our team. This position is almost exclusively in the field, which means you’ll be driving from property to property throughout the day, performing showings, running errands, and providing assistance to Property Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage rental applications and approvals in Buildium
- Investigate and resolve tenant complaints
- Prepare materials for unit listings
- Activate and deactivate unit listings as appropriate
- Administer the mid-lease tenant maintenance chargeback process
- Process move outs/move-outs
- Lead showing appointments as needed
- Take pictures and make records for property appearance and condition.
- Communicate regularly with Property Managers.
- Make online submissions about showings and properties.
- Manage and post property flyers and update the cork board.
- Perform move-in and move-out inspections.
- Compile reports for the Property Manager.
- Run errands for the Property Manager.
Requirements:
- Computer proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel, Google docs, Gmail.
- Smart phone proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license and no recent DUIs or other recent major driving infractions. Background check required.
- Candidate must be detail oriented and well organized while possessing strong time management skills and a sense of urgency for meeting critical deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively and identify and resolve problems.
- Focused and self-motivated team player who must be able to work independently while handling multiple tasks and paying strict attention to detail.
The position would generally be 35-40 hours per week, and include some evenings and weekends.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma, Associates Degree (or higher) preferred.
Medical and Dental Insurance available after 60 days of full-time employment.
