Full-time! 32hours a week: 8am-4:30pm, rotating weekends!

Job Duties:

•  Manage the documentation and Quality of Life needs of assigned residents.
•  Participate in the management of clients’ needs at the Redies Center
•  Lead or assist with groups of Long-Term clients.
•  Manage time/assignments effectively.
•  Pushing/pulling loads up to 50 pounds
•  Transporting residents to and from activities.
•  Comfortable facilitating activities

Job Requirements:

•  High school diploma or equivalent
•  Enjoys working with the senior population
•  Good fine motor skills
•  6 months experience in a life enrichment department/skilled nursing or senior living setting
•  Creative mind that enjoys coming up with new ideas and fun ways to engage with our residents

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Ability to play an instrument or sing is a plus!
•  Experience working as a camp counselor facilitating activities is a plus!
•  Currently enrolled in a Therapeutic Recreation program, Gerontology program, or has completed Mepap 1 for NCCAP is a plus!
