The HR Transformation, ED is an HR Leader who leads reimagining and optimizing HR processes, systems, and strategies to align with the organization's overall business objectives. This role is instrumental in ensuring HR's ability to adapt to changing business needs, implement best practices, and foster a culture of innovation and efficiency.

The leader is responsible for incorporating technology solutions and best practices, to resolve complex issues in order to improve processes and drive continuous improvement in support of building a world-class HR organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the HRIS function as well as the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system from a Human Resources perspective.

This position partners closely with the HR leadership team and key stakeholders drive to transform and optimize HR processes, ensuring effective utilization of an ERP system, and driving strategic HR initiatives.

Experience and Skills:

  • Develop and drive the execution of the HR Transformation program including roadmap design, service delivery model, business case, project milestones and deliverables while incorporating best practices and technology solutions while understanding organizational bandwidth.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing HR processes, policies, and procedures. Identify areas for improvement, design efficient workflows, and implement changes to enhance HR service delivery.
  • Support the HR leadership team to identify, clarify and resolve complex issues critical to the success of while defining capabilities required in the future-state organization.
  • Evaluate the ETS’s internal HR functions; implementing new processes and systems to better serve our internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Partner with IT leadership to identify and establish information requirements, data strategies and systems to improve business processes and analytics.
  • Make recommendations to business process changes based on experience, analysis, best practices and feedback.
  • Participate in change management and communication activities associated with process improvement, engaging leadership and stakeholders to obtain support and buy in for change.
  • Work with cross functional teams to align opportunities for improvement.
  • Understand and recommend short-term system changes to deliver process improvements.
  • Develop performance metrics, provide insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making and enhance HR performance.
  • Support the VP of HR on any ad-hoc projects that may arise in in support of the HR Strategy.

HRIS Functions:

  • Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategic roadmap for the HRIS function, aligning it with the organization's HR and business goals.
  • Lead the HRIS Team who is responsible for:
    • Managing the design and maintenance of data structures within the HRIS to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance. Develop and deliver HR analytics and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
    • Continuously assessing the effectiveness of HRIS processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to increase efficiency, user-friendliness, and data integrity.
  • Manage the HRIS budget, allocate resources effectively, and track expenses to optimize cost efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of emerging HR technology trends, innovations, and best practices, and assess their potential impact on the organization's HRIS strategy.

ERP Implementation:

  • Partner with Finance Transformation leader to:
    • Rationalize integration of HR data with Finance data within an ERP ecosystem.
    • Build a unified data strategy that contemplates, Legacy ERP, Incumbent ERP and Evolving reporting needs.
    • Ensure ERP is effectively configured to align with HR processes, policies, and organizational needs.
  • Partner with IT and HRIS to strategically remove dependence on external consultants for standard ERP maintenance.
  • Lead the conversion effort from an HR SME perspective to new ERP:
    • Including testing, requirements, building and managing HR sponsor sign off.
    • Ensure accurate and timely migration of HR data to the ERP system.
    • Establish data governance frameworks and protocols to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
    • Implement appropriate security measures to safeguard HR data within ERP.
    • Ensure process mapping and DPMs are complete.
    • Develop and execute change management strategies to support the adoption of new HR system.
    • Provide ongoing guidance and user support to HR team on new functions and processes ensuring a smooth transition.
    • Develop comprehensive training programs and materials to facilitate HR user adoption of the ERP system.
    • Utilize the capabilities of ERP system to generate HR analytics and reports.
