Education Training Resources is Hiring a Recreation Specialist - Full-time & Part-time Near Saint Paul, MN

 

Get paid to do what you love and make a difference! You can share your knowledge of recreational activities with at-risk youth at the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR). We have creative and caring staff who make a difference in the lives of our students each and every day.
JOB DUTIES: Organize, promote and monitor a recreation program that includes arts and crafts, sports, games, music, dramatics, social recreation and hobbies both on campus and in the community
• Assess interests of students and plan activities accordingly
• Oversee operation of recreational facilities and maintain areas
• Enforce rules and regulations of recreational facilities to ensure safety
• Train and supervise student recreation aides
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s degree in related field or one year of relevant experience with youth, one year of recreation experience, and valid Minnesota driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

WORK SCHEDULES:
• Full-time working 40 hours per week (2:00 to 11:00 pm on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday and 2:30 to 11:30 pm on Saturday)
• Part-time working 20 hours per week (5:00 to 11:00 pm on Wednesday through Saturday)
• Part-time working 20 hours per week (5:00 to 11:00 on Sunday through Wednesday)
PAY AND BENEFITS: $18.59 per hour plus benefits, including 12 paid holidays, vacation and sick time, 401(k) with match, and medical, dental and vision insuranceEqual Opportunity Employer: Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran
