Scope of Position
• Greet and assist jobseekers, employers and agency visitors; provide administrative support to staff and customers in need of basic CareerLink services.
Essential Functions
• Welcome visitors in a prompt and friendly manner, directing them to appropriate area, services or staff• Provide PA CareerLink information in a knowledgeable and pleasant manner• Direct visitors to available onsite partners and resources as appropriate• Responsible for customer activity through sign-in, workshops and activity registrations• Provide prompt, accurate transfer of messages and information from the front desk to appropriate PA CareerLink staff• Retrieve login information for individuals to access the PA CareerLink website• Answer and direct calls on the PA CareerLink multi-line telephone system• Provide basic services statistics and reporting to monitor customer activity• Support staff in the collection and verification of program requirements and needed documentation• Perform data entry and provide clerical support• Open and disburse mail to appropriate staff mailboxes• Prevent unauthorized persons from entering the agency• Manage office supplies• Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Customer Service experience required• Bilingual in Spanish required• Experience in answering inquiries in a courteous, efficient and professional manner• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
