This role will support either the Central or North/Southwest Region.
The Safety Manager sets the vision and executes the strategy of EDP’s safety culture. This role takes the lead in a proactive approach to injury, incident, and accident prevention, focusing on at-risk behaviors that can lead to claims and loss. The safety team implements programs, policies, and safe behaviors that contribute to accident prevention. This position offers a guiding vision and flexible procedures to prevent at-risk behaviors and promote safety.
Key areas of focus will include coaching and teaching EDP safety procedures to ensure everyone abides by them. Areas of needed knowledge include NFPA, OSHA, EPA, CGA, FMCSA, and DOT regulations related to our business. Applicants will receive further details in the job description.
