The Role

The Controller will report to the General Counsel and EVP, Business Operations and oversee the accounting department. You will have a unique opportunity to build an accounting team and processes while working cross-functionally with business unit leaders. The ideal candidate is a master in the discipline of accounting, an excellent communicator and eager to build a process driven organization.

What You Will Do

• Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Formulate and implement the company’s accounting strategies
• Oversee annual financial statement audit and maintain sales tax compliance
• Assist in the budget process
• Build out scalable accounting and reporting processes, including the implementation of a new accounting ERP system
• Work with the FP&A team to ensure that financial reporting is oriented to the specific decisions the company faces
• Evaluate accounting and internal control systems

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 10 years of accounting experience in a fast paced environment
• Substantial experience with ASC 606 and related contracts in a B2B environment
• SaaS, technology, start-up company experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and related accounting concepts
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and to proactively identify and lead new project initiatives with
• enthusiasm
• CPA preferred
