EDL is Hiring a Supply Chain Administrator Near East Lansing, MI

Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Support: support of the supply chain team to improve the customer experience pertaining to the procure to pay process by
    • Support operations by managing goods receiving in the ERP as defined by management
    • Liaising between operations, procurement, and possibly vendors to resolve discrepancies promptly
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
    • Engage with accounts payable, operations and the procurement team as needed to resolve billing issues efficiently as a single point of contact for all parties
    • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
    • Work with the supply chain team to identify and improve the procure to pay process effectiveness and efficiency
    • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Manage open order follow up to ensure that sites are receiving goods as expected and escalate supply chain issues when identified 
    • Coordinate with site to ensure prompt receipt of services to ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner
    • Perform various administrative tasks such as data entry, record-keeping, and document management related to supply chain operations
    • Other duties as assigned by management
  • Fleet Management: oversee all aspects of our fleet including but not limited to
    • Add/delete drivers as needed and serves as the point of contact for the EFM (Enterprise Fleet Management) client support
    • Monitor fleet activity, claims, receipts, and recalls ensuring compliance and efficiency
    • Review and approve maintenance requests
    • Manage vehicle monitoring system
    • Manage the ordering and disposal of vehicles per company policies 
    • Manage incident reporting; circulate tier incident reports and manage incident response procedures
    • Assign company vehicles at the discretion of management and manage vehicle shipping logistics.
    • Maintain and communicate fleet related policies
    • Manage insurance coverage for company vehicles

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Associate degree in business, or relevant discipline preferred
  • Experience in the procure to pay process
  • 3-5 years of administrative, accounts payable or supply chain experience required
  • Intermediate Excel skills required
  • Exemplary organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate, but also work independently
  • Ability to manage complex and changing schedules
  • Ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining efficiency and required deadlines
  • Must be detail-oriented, while maintaining high level of accuracy, resourcefulness, and efficiency
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs including Outlook and Teams, with the ability to learn new computer-based software applications and programs
