Job Description…

The ideal cook is motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day. 

A day in the life… 

• Prepare food items consistently and adhere to standards
• Maintain a safe working environment by using proper food handling skills and food safety guidelines
• Complete kitchen tasks such as line setup, food preparation, cleanup, and breakdown 
• The hours and schedule for this position will vary by week depending on business needs 

You own this if you have… 

• Comprehensive knife skills; Use proper knife handling techniques 
• Cold & hot line knowledge to include classic knife cuts, multiple cooking techniques (grill, sauté, boil, steam, braise, saucier)
• Proper sanitation practices and follow HACCP plans 
• An eye for detail
• A desire to learn and the ability to take constructive criticism 
• Good communication skills – Solution Oriented 
• Ability to follow recipes
• Multitasking without sacrificing food quality 
• Team Player-Help other team members during down time
• Flexible. Schedules will be based on banquet event needs
• A food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations 
• 2 year experience in food service/hospitality (preferred) 

Pay Rate:  $22.14 per hour
