Edens supportive living is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Aurora, IL

Job Summary:
The Front Desk/Concierge monitors the front desk, the Nurse call systems, the security systems and is required to have coverage for these systems at all times. Answers the main switchboard, greets visitors, and performs a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Principal Responsibilities:
 Professionally responds to all incoming phone calls, takes messages or forwards calls as appropriate; provides information about 311 LINCOLNWAY PROPERTIES LLC and its services, directions to the building, etc.
 Greets visitors in a professional and hospitable manner; insures that guests sign in and out on the visitor log; notifies staff or residents of their guests as needed and/or provides directions to proper room or apartment in the building
 When the Nurse call system has emergency cords that are pulled, advises CNAs via radio of location and ensures that one or more staff members acknowledge and respond
 Monitors security cameras, notifying appropriate personnel when incidents occur; follows assigned procedures in case of fire alarms and other emergencies
 Receives shipments and packages, and notifies addressee for pick-up; for medication deliveries, summons wellness staff and assists with proper documentation
 Checks out keys and two-way radios to staff per 311 LINCOLNWAY PROPERTIES LLC procedures
 Makes transportation arrangements for residents as needed
 Sells guest meal tickets: provides receipt and deposits cash in safe per 311 LINCOLNWAY PROPERTIES LLC procedure
 Enters housekeeping and maintenance needs/requests in the proper log book
 When residents are discharged to hospital, prints out face sheet and gives to paramedics, and enters discharge in the database “hospital log”
 Records resident absences on the “Resident Out Sheet” and assists other staff in accounting for the safety and well-being of residents
 Assists residents in making hair salon appointments, reserving a place on outings and with similar in-house services; redirect them to nurse, activity director or other staff as appropriate
 Assists guests staying in the 311 LINCOLNWAY PROPERTIES LLC Suite: issues room keys, accepts payment, provides instructions, etc.
 Types memos, correspondence, reports and other documents as assigned
 Assists in maintaining mailing lists, tracking bed-hold days and other administrative record-keeping
 Maintains privacy of records at the front desk; helps maintain professional appearance of desk and lobby area
 Performs a variety of clerical duties and other duties as assigned
Dress Code:
Business Attire. All apparel must be clean, wrinkle-free, properly hemmed and in good repair: no holes, tears, or stains. Impeccable personal hygiene and grooming.
Minimum Qualifications:
 High school diploma or GED
 Minimum of 1year customer service experience
 Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and ability to learn and master 311 LINCOLNWAY PROPERTIES LLC database and other software as needed.
 Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills
 Punctual and able to maintain established timeframes for duties
 Able to work with minimal supervision
 Able to multi-task
 Professional appearance
 Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
 Able to perform basic mathematical operations, including percentages and fractions
 Able to deal with standardized situations with occasional variables
 Able to discern when other parties need to be involved in validating priorities
