ECS is seeking a Lead Communications Specialist to work in our Washington, DC office. This is anticipated to be a hybrid remote/in-person position with in-person work at the client site in Washington, DC at least once per week (frequency to increase or decrease based on client need).

ECS is seeking an experienced Communications Specialist to support strategic communications for our client at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Experience Office (VEO). This position will be responsible for working independently 1-on-1 with executive-level clients to develop communications products such as fact sheets, talking points, blogs, etc. This role requires a combination of communications, problem solving and analytical skills, collaboration and teamwork, and client relationship building/management skills. A successful candidate will have a high attention to detail and demonstrate excellence in oral and written communications (briefings, presentations, and client ready documentation). A writing sample will be a requirement of the interview process.
