Position Description:

Ecompex is recruiting for a Course Developer to provide Knowledge Management and Program Support Services to the Department of Homeland Security. The candidate’s role will be crucial in accomplishing various missions to provide the necessary security for information sharing and to enable DHS to provide federal, state, and local officials with the technology and capabilities to protect the homeland. Some responsibilities of this role will include developing training curriculums and conducting training sessions for personnel, technical writing, performing skills assessments among other tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a Tier 1 background investigation to be placed in a position of Public Trust.
  • Must possess a B.A. or B.S. degree and have 5 or more years of relevant experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint, Word, Excel.
  • Strong communication, written, and verbal skills.
  • Proficient technical skills.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in program management.
  • Proficient in developing and conducting training sessions for personnel.
  • Experience performing skills assessments.
  • Proficient in curriculum development.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee learning and skill development initiatives for Knowledge Management Support in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Provide program management support, training methodologies, skills assessments, curriculum development, and related support functions.
  • Conduct training sessions and utilization overviews for publication and data repositories.
  • Proficient in developing large enterprise-wide online training courses and programs.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and effectively communicate them to non-technical audiences.
