Job Title: Engineering Tech

Duration: 3 Months

Pay Rate: $16.50/hr on W2

Shift: 8 – 5 but could vary depending on the project. 1st shift

Synopsis: These individuals will be setting up new workstations, cabling in internet and phones, and looking at adding signage

Job Description:

This individual should be a high-energy, quick learner who enjoys a hand-on, high-speed work environment. Specifically, the responsibilities of this position include:

• Preventative Maintenance of equipment.
• Work with our corporate Engineering and Operations management team to prepare test procedures for repair and other processes.
• Work with client repair branches to implement and support the tools and processes to optimize testing and repair processes.
• Ships and receives fixtures and equipment when necessary.
• Software updates and validation, Specifically Amazon software. Analyze technical requirements and effort associated with test systems, products,
• Generate various documents, including test procedures, schematics, flowcharts, and project status reports.
• Support local branch on technical requirements and consult with other branches as required.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on direction from multiple departments.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and communicate with a diverse population, including all levels of management
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clear discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems.
• Understanding of analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits.
• Understanding of audio, video and CATV RF formats and circuits.
• Familiarity with IP networks and Linux a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Experience:

Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of science.

Bachelor's a plus or experience with test engineering, 1 year minimum

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
