Role Description:

Linux Administrative activities include:

· Be a Team Lead

· Prioritize tasks and identify bottlenecks in the environment.

· Evaluate tools and deploy in working environment.

· Maintaining a stable Linux environment.

· Help Junior Admins with Patching servers monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilities.

· Use Ansible tower to manage and maintain the Linux environment.

· Update Ansible with automation scripts.

· Write Ansible scripts to optimize SA work.

· Manage Puppet in providing compliance of the Linux environment.

· Manage and maintain Satellite server and its repositories and the devices that pull down the repos.

· Manage Red Hat Identity Management servers.

· Manage Certificate and PKI infrastructure.

· Proficient in VMWare ESXi infrastructure and knowledge of deploying VM’s.

· Will serve as the systems architect for improving and optimizing the current state and designing and building the next generation infrastructure.

· Must excel at troubleshooting extremely complex problems to resolve.

· Must be able to train and mentor Junior Level SAs.

Required skills/Level of Experience:

· Red Hat Certified System administrator – RHCSA (required).

· Greater than twelve (12) years of experience with planning, designing, and installing virtual.

· Must have Red Hat Certified Engineer – RHCE certification

· Hardware/software/storage within an Enterprise data center

· Should have expert level knowledge on Ansible and managing of Linux environment.

· Red Hat Identity Management

· Red Hat PKI infrastructure Management

· VMWare ESXi

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $37.36 - $45.00 per hour
