Eckroat Seed is Hiring a Retail Team Member Near Oklahoma, OK
Retail Team Member Job Overview:
We are seeking a person with 2 years of working in a high-volume retail store. 2 years of experience in farming, gardening or weed control is a plus. To be successful you must have a passion for learning and truly enjoy chatting with a diverse group of people.
Our store is open from Monday – Friday from 8am to 5:30 pm and March through September we are open Saturday mornings from 8am to Noon. Full time employees typically work all of these hours (between 5 - 9 hours of OT/week.)
For full consideration, you must complete the requested assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers both in person and over the phone and assist them in finding the right products
- Assist customers with product selection and offer recommendations (we will teach you the product lines)
- Process sales purchases and returns accurately and efficiently
- Keep the store clean and organized
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
Skills:
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and handling cash
- Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional assistance to customers
- Two plus years high volume retail sales experience or relevant industry experience (gardening, farming, landscaping) required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying cool and calm
- Ability to help customers carry their purchases to their car (up to 50lbs)
- Conversational Spanish skills helpful.
- Experience using QuickBooks helpful
Compensation
- Hourly pay for this position is $14 (depending upon relevant qualifications)
- Between 5 - 9 hours of OT/week
- Generous time off benefit

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
