ECi Software Solutions Career is Hiring a Project Manager Near Latham, NY

ECI is seeking a Project Manager to continue to provide the best in Software Solutions to small and medium sized businesses Our international company is growing and creating excitement with our best-in-class ERP products. We are looking for a professional Project Manager to plan, direct and coordinate the implementation process for the aftermarket needs of our global base of customers working closely with those customers, assigning implementation, conversion, and other specialists to ensure a timely and seamless upgrade. Based out of our Latham (Albany) NY office, this position is open as fully remote for the right candidate.These projects are varied in nature and may include licensing, hardware, eCommerce, software upgrades, network enhancements, store expansion, etc. They are generally short in duration and come in at a rapid pace. Responsibilities: Manage the project from start to finish for customers using SFDC Financial Force and Microsoft Office Suite. Schedule internal resources as needed using existing scheduling tools with minimum oversight. Provide support, guidance and advice to internal staff assigned to these projects. Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement activities in all phases of the process with predominant contact via telephone on all projects; as well as utilizing email, project management software and direct conversations with follow-up. Work independently, proactively with authority and confidence to move project forward with all internal resources and customer stakeholders. Regularly engage with our in-house and outside procurement teams to ensure that when hardware is required, it is handled expeditiously with appropriate follow-up. Identify pain points in projects to provide appropriate resolutions to keep projects on schedule. Provide regular weekly status up-to-dates in Financial Force and maintain transparency for all projects to assigned staff. Work closely with accounting team where needed to provide status and direct follow up on invoicing and billing questions for the customer. Closely monitor project(s) regarding scheduling to alert management of any indications, internal and/or external, that the project may not achieve desired milestones. Deliver constant positive reinforcement supporting and building creditability with key stakeholders ensuring customers grasp change benefit relationship to level of effort required. Proactively define and manage the expectation and ensure working with various groups that those expectations are met. Provide relevant and timely information to the larger management group as to potential problems and issues. Be able to quickly determine the scope of a request and determine if a formal project is required or simple notification to another team member. Additional project/tasks as needed. Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Education & Experience: Microsoft Office Suite experience required. Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Salesforce and Financial Force experience helpful. A diverse background in technology, implementation, and ERP. A proven commitment to the highest levels of customer service. Ability to leverage interpersonal skills to drive implementation activities from peers across the enterprise. Ability to cope well in high-volume stressful situations and manage the desired outcome. Ability to prioritize attention based upon awareness and risk assessment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills at customer relations and conflict resolution. Highly organized and self-motivated with excellent time-management skills. Ability to work with customers across cultures and time zones. Must be able to rapidly learn new skills and adapt to our ever-evolving technology stack. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business or technology or an Associate’s degree with comparable levels of experience in these areas. At least 2-3 years’ experience with Project Management in a technology-based company. The ability to assimilate changes to processes, procedures, personnel, and product knowledge as it relates to the implementation process. PMP or CAPM Certification a plus #LI-REMOTE
