Position Title: Connections Manager, SEO

Duration: 12 month contract to hire

Compensation: $65K

PTO/Holidays: 18 days PTO / 11 Paid Holidays

Hybrid Schedule: M/F remote & T-Th onsite

Job Description:
We are looking for a Connections Manager for Organic Search to help with existing and planned marketing programs, make organic search recommendations, and implement SEO best practices for clients. You will work with our Client Engagement, Creative, E-commerce, Web Design, Tech, Performance Content and Analytics teams across the agency, and have lots of opportunities to present search strategy and SEO concepts to colleagues and clients, and access to some of the smartest SEOs in the business to build your skills.

WHAT YOUR SUCCESS WILL LOOK LIKE

• Help global clients expand their knowledge and use of search engine optimization and guide internal client user adoption
• Provide guidance to the agency and client on the implementation and use of SEO strategies
• Demonstrate ability to stay current on the always changing world of search marketing
• Work with account teams and clients to understand and document business, technical and reporting requirements, and to develop solutions to ensure success
• Attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform tasks and organizational development
• Assist clients with the tracking and enhancement of marketing efforts
• Strategic recommendations for improving SEO of small and large websites in different stages of development
• Keyword research using leading industry tools
• Test and analysis of keywords, title and description copy, optimized page titles and meta tags
• Website audits and recommendations for SEO-friendly site development — including wireframes, site maps and site architecture
• Evaluations/presentations of current SEO on existing sites
• Research and evaluations of competitors' search marketing efforts
• Research and creation of e-commerce SEO keywords for Amazon, Walmart and direct-to-consumer websites
• Create monthly reports
• Documentation relating to existing processes and suggestions for improving processes

WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU BRING

Although this is an entry-level position, experience with any of the following is helpful:

• 1-2 years experience with basic search engine optimization.
• Experience with industry tools such as Google Webmaster Tools, keyword research tools, tracking tools and ranking tracking
• Understanding of the leading web analytics platforms including Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
• Work with all levels of end-users and technical resources
• Enthusiasm for and understanding of the online marketing industry and technologies
• Analyze website marketing measurements, data and numbers
• Understand website development, user experience, and social media marketing to coordinate with SEO efforts
• Google Analytics and Google AdWords certifications
• Knowledge of Amazon Retail Ana
