Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical fixtures, and HVAC systems
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential issues or hazards
- Install, repair, and replace appliances, furniture, and fixtures
- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed
- Handle basic carpentry tasks such as building shelves, cabinets, or furniture
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role
- Solid knowledge of general maintenance processes and techniques
- Proficient in using various hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
