Eberspaecher is Hiring a Reclaim Technician Near Brighton, MI

This candidate must be able to work 10 hour days from 8:00pm-6:00am, 7 days a week. Time and a half and double time apply.
Objective of the Position: Manufacturing Associate responsible for reclaiming product to minimize scrape.

Essential Accountabilities:

Works with material coordinator, quality and production supervisor to support production needs.
Assist in the production of manufacturing parts and run multiple work stations.
Use tools provided to cut open scrap bricks in a manner to preserve substrates for reuse.
Inspect substrates to assure they meet quality requirements for re-entry into production.
Required to use plasma cutter, saws and other assorted tools to perform the tasks.
Responsible to exceed Customer Quality expectations and ensure strict adherence to EETAM Material and Logistic procedures and policies.
Responsible to be the production expert in your area(s) of responsibility and to fill in where necessary to ensure a smooth running operation.
Actively participates in all physical inventory activities.
Responsible to assist in all activities that support flawless product launch.
Assures housekeeping standards are exceeded.
Other duties as assigned.

Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One to three months’ related experience and/or training in manufacturing setting.
Detailed oriented.
Strong manual dexterity abilities.
Must have experience using various power tools, (i.e. ban saws, table saws, plasma cutters and grinders).
