Eaton Steel Corporation is Hiring a Machine Operator Near Oak Park, MI
- Operating remote controlled overhead cranes
- Operating powered industrial trucks
- Operating Side Loaders
- Set up and operate the bar marking, bar cleaning and bar chamfering machines
- Keeps staging area filled
- Follows all written procedures
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Current ability to set up or operate BLM tubing cutting with Siemens CNC 8400D Controller or similar cutting Cell (Hautau Tube Cutting Machine)- preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years warehouse or manufacturing experience- preferred
- Certifications for hi-lo or overhead cranes- preferred
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers and other related measurement equipment
- Computer literacy necessary
- Previous machine operator experience running shears, band saw, cold saw operation or tube cutting machines a plus
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, climb or stoop
- Ability to keep up with production pace for entire 8 hour shift
- Experience in high volume work environment a plus
- Ability to work any shift
- Have reliable transportation
- Take and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks
