CNC Lathe Operator , up to $25 / hr, Mt Clemens, MI Are you interested in working for an innovative leading supplier in the Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Marine, Farm Implement and Machine Tool industries?

- Preferred 5 years of experience
- Experience in CNC lathe machining / set-up
- Ability to perform setups, tool changes and offsets
- Ability to read blueprints and inspect parts
- Ability to read micrometers, calipers and gauges
- Ability to lift, push, and / or pull up to 50 lbs
Duties and Responsibilities : The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Working from blueprints, schematics and diagrams
- Set Up and operate CNC Lathes centers to perform multiple machining and cutting operations on various materials
- Operations involve set-ups, tool changes, and offsets per machine specifications
- Make first-piece inspections and ensure the parts maintain the print dimension when finished
The CNC Lathe Operator position is a critical part of the daily operation strategy. The goal of this position is to produce quality machined parts by setting up and operating CNC Lathes.
Employees will be trained up on all tasks and will be considered for hire-in after their time with Workbox!Let’s go to work!
