Automotive Accounts Payable Clerk
Our company has an outstanding opportunity for results-focused, highly driven and experienced individuals. Our dealership is currently searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk, we want to talk to you! Prior accounts payable experience is preferred for consideration of this position.
Job Description:
- Verify and enter all payables/invoices
- Performs cash receipts, deposits, and A/R functions
- Coordinate and prepare reconciliations for all accounts
- Automate all possible systems and establish controls
- Maintain and post monthly entries
- Work with office staff to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
- Assist with reconciliation of all accounts prior to month end
- Assist in completion of annual reviews and audits
- Complete end-of-month accounting reports as assigned
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
- Minimum of 2 years' accounts payable experience (dealership setting preferred)
- Ability to explain technical financial information in an understandable manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of accounting office positions
- Professional appearance
- Compensation is based on experience
