Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician for a food production firm that provides spices, seeds, oats, flour and plant-based ingredients to the food industry. Shift 3pm-11pm Mon-Fri. For immediate consideration, apply today.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mechanical, preventative, and hydraulic repairs.
• Responsible for electrical installation, maintenance. troubleshooting and repairs.
• Responsible for maintaining and leaving work areas clean and keeping tools clean.
• Must remain alert for sounds. vibrations, odors, sights. etc., which indicate problems with equipment throughout the plant.
• Responsible to see that any potential problems are reported to the maintenance supervisor.
• Performs other duties or tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills to calculate ratios, rates and convert measurements
• First year maintenance M 3rd class must be willing and able to pass initial skills
• 5 years working with bolts sweeping motor
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights up to 150 feet.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and kneel to reach awkward locations.
• Requires manual dexterity to handle very small items precisely.
• Must not have allergies to wheat and/or its associated ducts.
