About being a Driver/Transportation Specialist at Easterseals Redwood:
- We have part-time opportunities available!
- Part-time is split-shift, the schedule will be 5 hours per day, Monday-Friday, 6:30a-9a and 2p-4:30p approximately.
- In this position, you will be responsible for transporting individuals with disabilities to and from programs and work sites.
- Assisting individuals with entering and exiting van.
- Performs external maintenance check daily on van and reports to supervisor any needed maintenance.
- May be required to learn additional van routes in order to provide coverage during absences and vacations.
- Maintains accurate information on individuals served attendance.
- Observes and reports any information which might affect service to individuals served.
What Easterseals Redwood needs from our Driver/Transportation Specialist:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver’s license & automobile insurance & a good driving record
- Experience transporting passengers a plus
- Drivers are required to be 21 years or older per state regulation
