Easterseals Redwood is Hiring a Marketing Specialist Near Cincinnati, OH
- Work collaboratively with staff to write and design print and electronic materials that effectively communicate services to a range of audiences, ensuring that messaging is on-brand and consistent across printed and digital platforms and engages audiences.
- Support the advancement team’s fundraising efforts through compelling storytelling and graphic design in annual reports, fundraising materials, annual giving campaigns, and presentation decks, newsletters, social posts.
- Provide marketing support for Easterseals Redwood’s annual fundraising events, including print and digital communications, media relations, and on-site event execution.
- Capture and edit video for placement in multiple channels, including on our website, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
- Contribute to the organization’s website and social media channels with content that engages, inspires, and builds awareness for the Easterseals Redwood brand.
- Create and manage engaging digital and print campaigns for multiple constituencies that inspire audiences to take action.
- Report regularly on marketing activities, engagement levels, and progress.
- Keep up-to-date in the fields of marketing, not-for-profits and social services. Use this information to assist with initiative and innovation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, marketing, public relations, or related field and 1 year of professional marketing experience OR associate’s degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field and 3 years of professional marketing experience.
- Portfolio showing creative range. Please be prepared to speak to your contributions to the work if it was part of a team collaboration.
- Experience using multiple social media channels in business, retail settings, or impact-related organizations.
- Excellent written communication skills, editing, and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral presentation skills and ability to create impactful PowerPoint decks.
- Creativity, innovative thinking, and a keen eye for design.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at a time and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on all facets of marketing campaign management, including writing copy, graphic design, execution, and measurement.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in computer software applications relevant to this position, i.e. WordPress, Canva, MailChimp, Constant Contact, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office.
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM best practices and Google Analytics reporting tools.
- Goal-oriented with a high level of enthusiasm and commitment to the mission and goals of Easterseals Redwood.
