About being a HR Operations Manager at Easterseals Redwood:
As the HR Operations Manager, reporting to the VP, of HR and Talent, you will lead the supervision and enhancement of HR processes, ensuring service excellence and continuous improvement. Your role involves strategic partnerships with stakeholders, managing escalated issues, maintaining compliance, and contributing to benefits, wellness, and HR projects. You will be instrumental in refining our HR processes and systems, contributing to the implementation of HR strategy, and upholding a culture of professionalism within the team.
  • Providing leadership and driving best practices within the HR Operations team.
  • Leading change management initiatives to drive the adoption of new strategies, processes and technologies.
  • Developing tools and processes to monitor, report on, and continuously improve HR service delivery.
  • Developing and maintaining process documentation for all HR policies & processes.
  • Supervise all HR operational processes, implement best practices, and continuous improvement strategies to drive quality, efficiency, and a quality, engaging employee experience.
  • Managing HR operations projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
  • Driving the development and adoption of technology solutions to enhance HR service delivery.
  • Foster a professional and customer-focused culture within the HR team, emphasizing the importance of teamwork, employee privacy and confidentiality.
  • Primary HR HRIS administrator.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Oversees the coordination of the benefits process for the newly eligible staff and collaborates on the reconciliation of invoice processing, resolving discrepancies with vendors and their respective systems.
  • Benefits liaison for third-party vendors.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop HR Specialist.
  • Administration and Compliance
  • Collects, audits, records, and stores a wide range of staff benefit and employment records, ensuring both accuracy and timeliness.
  • Creates and monitors tracking related to staffing and onboarding.
  • Assists with the preparation of audits through records retention, policy review, and documentation.
  • Seeks out and applies quality processes or techniques to improve efficiencies, reduce the risk of errors, and utilize resources in the best possible manner.
What Easterseals Redwood needs from our HR Operations Manager:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or associate degree and/or combination of relevant experience.
  • Proven success in HR Operations, with a focus on process optimization and technology enablement.
  • Previous experience leading and serving as a change agent.
  • Intermediate to advanced expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of HR Processes and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Strong project management skills.
