EIHC is seeking a full-time HR Generalist dedicated to serving the needs of our community.

SCHEDULE

8 AM TO 5 PM, Monday through Friday

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties and answers any employee queries on any HR-related issues.
  • Maintain and administer HRIS software of the organization.
  • Completes payroll with oversight and input from Accounting and the HR Manager including but not limited to reviewing hours, overtime requirements, bonus/incentive pay, inputting exceptions, and any benefit changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.
  • Review applications and conducts and/or schedules preliminary interviews.
  • Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate a smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Take an active part in HR projects, such as job fairs, recruitments rounds, and more.
  • Participate in various HR workflows (such as but not limited to I-9 forms, EEO tracking, employee benefit program, workers compensation claims, unemployment forms, COBRA administration, etc.) by compiling, filing and distributing appropriate electronic and physical paperwork.
  • Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include but is not limited to; layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absences.
  • Assist in the review, revise, and updating company policies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s degree or prior related experience in related field required.
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
