    Athletic Office Assistant/Event Supervisor (Full-Time)
    Chanhassen High School

    Start Date: As soon as possible
    Position Days/Hours: 8 hours/day during after-school hours and at activities and events including weekends, 9-months per year (August - June).
    Salary: $21.93 (Tier 5)
    Responsible To: Athletic Director
    Major Job Functions/Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Please see attached job description for additional information.
    • Assists and supports high school coaches/advisors with facility needs, registration, eligibility, etc.
    • Provide supervision at building during after-school hours and at activities and events including weekends.
    • Assist in the Athletic Office during the day when not supervising evening events.
    • Manages and coordinates scheduling of facility use for practices/competitions during the school year and in the off season for high school athletic programs.
    • Assists with needs of Community Education and outside user programs to fulfill facility needs in conjunction with high school programs.
    • Coordinates all aspects of transportation including working with coaches to create schedules, entering requests into the TripTracker system, tracking trips that are late or did not come with the correct equipment and coordinating early dismissal for student athletes at each school.
    • Greets students, parents and visitors.
    • Creates invoices and letters for special events using Microsoft Word.
    • Tracks deposits, attendance, eligibility and team awards using Microsoft Excel.
    • Confirms schedules are current and correct with official assignors and confirms/communicates with officials.
    • Approves and collects official contract vouchers.
    • Assists in tracking awards for each sport (letters, participation certificates, conference awards, etc.).
    • Coordinates and assists with fundraising/ special events (i.e. Hall of Fame, BBQ Bash, Storm Fever, and National Letter of Intent Signing Day Ceremonies).
    • Assists with content creation and editing of the athletic website.
    • Assists with updating and maintaining records of student health physical forms.
    • Assists Athletic Director in purchasing equipment and necessary supplies.
    Qualifications: Experience working in an office setting with athletics/activities, and with high school students is required. A 2-year degree or greater is preferred.
    Benefits of Employment: Eligible for benefits as negotiated between Student Support Staff (MSEA Association) and District 112. This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
