 Essential Functions

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the functional abilities of clients
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to enhance functional independence and overall well-being
  • Utilize standardized assessments and clinical observations to determine clients' strengths, limitations, and areas for intervention
  • Provide hands-on occupational therapy interventions, exercises, and modalities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
  • Educate individuals and their families to achieve established plan of care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and aides, as appropriate

  Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited master’s level (or higher) program in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid/current professional license as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts
  • Ability to travel to/between multiple work locations
  • Must pass extensive background checks and provide professional references
  • If selected for hire, candidates must be able to provide a recent physical indicating the ability to perform the essential functions of the job either with or without accommodations, proof of negative TB test, and required immunizations (including fully-vaccinated status for Covid-19)
  • Preferred experience working with equines and knowledge of hippotherapy
  • Preferred candidates will have or be willing to obtain their Massachusetts Riding Instructor Licensure
