Sharon Public Schools is Hiring an Occupational Therapist Near Sharon, MA
The Sharon Public Schools is seeking a full time 1.0 FTE Occupational Therapist (OTR) starting in the 24-25 school year.
The Occupational Therapist position is based out of the Early Childhood Center spending approximately 4 days per week at ECC and 1 day supporting middle and high school students.
Roles and responsibilities of the OT include but are not limited to:
- Provision of direct services
- Administer Occupational Therapy evaluations and develop written evaluation reports for eligibility
- Participation in IEP meetings
- Development and implementation of IEP goals
- Progress reporting
- Case management of OT only IEP students
- Consultation to team members and parents
- Collaborate with other district OT providers
- Facilitate OT only Annual IEP meetings and all related paperwork as appropriate
- Other duties assigned by Director of the Early Childhood Center or Director of Student Services as applicable
The successful candidate will have school based experience and/or experience with young children with disabilities.
3 years of related experience preferred
OTR credentials required
Salary commensurate with experience in accordance with the Sharon Teachers Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.
