Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS) - contract position

$50.00 per hour

Easterseals Florida is currently seeking experienced ITDSs to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays enrolled in the Easterseals Florida Treasure Coast Early Steps Program in order to increase language, communication, social, independent play and self-help skills. The ITDS will develop support plans, provide in-home services, and conduct parent training, coaching, and support. Services are provided in family homes/natural environment or similar community settings. Some services may be provided via telemedicine.

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as an ITDS with at least 1 year of clinic and/or home-based pediatric experience
• Familiarity and ability to administer and interpret a variety of clinical assessments
• Ability to complete and pass a Level 2 background screening
• Demonstrate excellent clinical competence and judgment
• Conducting assessments
• Assisting with the development and implementation of child’s developmental support plans
• Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with parents and other caregivers, teachers, and community members
• Respect for cultural diversity
• Excellent written and verbal skills; detail oriented
• Must possess a high level of integrity

Language:

• English - must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) (Preferred)
• Bilingual (Creole and English) (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Florida Medicaid number
• ITDS Certification
