East African Healing Services is Hiring a Mental Health Professional Near Park, MN

POSITION SUMMARY: Mental Health Professional or clinical supervisor provides leadership, training, compliance, and quality control to the EAHS ARMHS Program under regulations of the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Adult Mental Health Division. The Mental Health Professional has direct responsibility for the supervision of eight ARMHS practitioners as well as of other mental health professionals supervising ARMHS staff.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide scheduled individual and group supervision to mental health professionals, RN medication educators, and mental health practitioners who report directly to Clinical Director ARMHS.

Conduct or oversee the initial orientation of new staff to ensure readiness to perform job functions.

Conduct or oversee annual performance reviews of staff.

Provide consultation and back up to staff for crisis situations.

Provide guidance to staff regarding the utilization of community resources.

Monitor administrative assistant work with paper charts to ensure the presence of required elements.

Coordinate with staff to ensure continuity of services to clients during staff vacations and absences.

Coordinate and provide clinical training and continuing education for ARMHS staff.

Oversee client admissions, assignments to staff, and discharges.

Provide input to the Executive Director about annual budget projection.

Monitor compliance with the requirements of DHS ARMHS certification.

Monitor fulfillment of foundation grant requirements.

Participate in agency management meetings.

Review and approve ARMHS documentation, including FA, Interpretive Summary, ITP, LOCUS and MHIS forms and direct service progress notes and community intervention notes.

Comply with and monitor staff compliance with HIPAA requirements.

Positively represent EAHS, the ARMHS program, and participants of EAHS ARMHS.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Master's Degree in a behavioral health field.

Licensure: LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP.

Experience: Experience providing ARMHS or ACT directly. Experience supervising ARMHS or ACT. Minimum of 2 years post licensing professional work

Supervision: Minimum of 3 years supervisory or team lead experience in mental health services.

Understanding of recovery-oriented mental health services.

SALARY: DOQ, Competitive.
