We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. If you have an interest in supporting the armed forces by selling top-knotch product to the wholesale military community, then this job is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, grow and expand sales within the department.
  • Take ownership of the company web site to promote and enhance marketing, sales and order taking with National Accounts.
  • Monitor military activities and operations to remain informed about potential sales and/or marketing opportunities.
  • Accurately project and achieve sales goals as well as oversee and conduct marketing to facilitate sales and growth
  • Provide and facilitate high customer service within the department.
  • Represent the Company at trade shows and marketing events as required.
  • Manage the quality and performance of personnel in Sales department.
  • Effectively communicate expectations, policies and procedures to the assigned department, as well as consequences of failure to comply with the same.
  • Maintain department-wide and individual production/performance records.
  • Plan department work to ensure satisfactory completion, and take responsibility for department performance relative to quality, performance, and goals.
  • Participate and make effective recommendations/decisions in the process of interviewing and hiring department employees.
  • Manage on-the-job training of department employees.
  • Monitor sales activity and order taking and assist department employees as necessary.
  • Exercise knowledge, understanding, and ensure department-wide compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
  • Effectively communicate with management, employees, clients, suppliers, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and implement an annual sales and marketing plan.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to sell effectively in a B2B wholesale environment.
  • Proven track record of success in previous sales positions
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills.
  • Must be able to effectively manage and direct work of others.
  • Must be able to evaluate work of others.
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality of Company and client information.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work in a team-fostered environment
  • Thrive in a multi-tasked environment.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and organize work of self and others.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Company policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain and exhibit high degree or professionalism.
  • Abide by Company Rules of Conduct.

This is not a remote position

Pay range: Commission Only

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
