JOB DESCRIPTION
The Fire Alarm Technician tests, repairs, and inspects fire detection systems. He or she must provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of two years of experience in fire protection systems, and has a minimum of Level II NICET certification (or can obtain Level II certification within the first eighteen months of employment). An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. He or she must meet the physical requirements specified in the Qualifications section. Effective oral and written skills, good time management and customer service skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position. This position is based in Charlotte, NC, with travel to client sites required.
