EAD Management Services Inc is Hiring a MANAGING DIRECTOR - Atlanta, GA Near Atlanta, GA

EAD is a progressive and innovative engineering, automation and construction consulting firm. We are involved with project work locally, nationally, and internationally. Our specialty areas include Food, Pharmaceutical and Parcel.

EAD is looking for a Managing Director to launch our Atlanta, GA office. The Managing Director will be responsible for managing and growing the Atlanta office throughout the southeast region of the US.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing the company's business strategies
  • Accountable for the financial performance of the Atlanta profit center
  • Actively growing and developing new clients within the region to support the growth and profitability of the Atlanta team
  • Managing the day-to-day operations and execution of projects by the team
  • Working with the Atlanta team to coordinate the execution of projects
  • Providing strategic input as a member of the Executive team
  • Adhering to all EAD's safety standards and practices
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 years of experience in a professional services firm, directing teams in a manner that is transparent, supportive, collaborative and motivating
  • Results oriented and creative mindset
  • Strong business development skills
  • Proven leadership skills, management experience and the ability to motivate staff and develop employee talent
  • Ability to interact with clients, staff and senior management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven interpersonal and client relations skills
  • Proven track record building and developing successful business development teams
  • Experience identifying business development issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
  • Excellent written communication skills with Clients and in-house support staff
  • Strong understanding of client and market dynamics and requirements
  • Able to work efficiently and manage time effectively
  • Experience creating, managing, and administering budgets
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, and other software applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • A strong and proven track record of high emotional intelligence
  • Experience in facilitating a collaborative and supportive culture between Sales & Marketing, Operations and Administrative teams.

Preferred Certifications and skills:

  • MBA or equivalent education preferred
  • Deltek Vision and Planifi experience is a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Office, plant, or client site environment*
  • Ability to sit and work at computer for an extended period of time
  • May work near moving mechanical parts and equipment*
  • Office, Commercial and/or Industrial setting with the potential of exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals*
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.*
  • Periodic weekend, holiday or evening work as needed
  • Travel required

*EAD will provide training, administrative/engineering controls, and personal protective equipment as necessary.
