The Department of Labor is looking for a detailed and meticulous Assistant Project Manager to be with the planning, execution and the monitoring of the principal projects in the department. The Assistant Project Manager will collaborate with the Senior Project Manager and project teams to make sure that the projects will be finished on time, within the budget and as per the departmental aims. This job is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a love for project management to be able to help the department reach its goal.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the implementation of solutions to address DOL’s business objectives and priorities as they relate to the services requested.
• Maintain the project schedule and participate in coordination efforts to keep all parties on schedule.
• Participate in project update meetings and working group board meetings.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management.
• Extensive knowledge of office relocation including furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), interior design services, transition services/move planning and coordination, floor covering/carpet services and other ancillary services/products.
• Through knowledge of office relocation logistics concerning people, property, and all services required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $89,510.00 - $94,510.00 per year
