Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting our clients' premises, assets, and personnel from potential threats. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be tasked with maintaining a visible presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions, conducting patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, and responding to emergencies as needed.

This is a part-time position with no guarantee of full-time hours. You will responsible for providing coverage on a part-time or on-call basis. There are opportunities to grow and advance into full-time and leadership positions within our company.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to identify and address security risks.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to detect suspicious activity.
• Enforce access control procedures to ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and visitors as needed.
• Complete detailed reports documenting security incidents, observations, and actions taken.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of firearms and other security equipment.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid armed security guard license.
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security preferred.
• Proficient in the use of firearms and able to maintain a high level of marksmanship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and perform duties in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications a plus.
• Female highly preferred to be able to conduct female pat-downs (Bona Fide Occupational Qualification)
