POSITION SUMMARY:

The Power Generation Field Representative Lead primarily works with gas turbine package, related services, and aids in job execution. The person in this position assists with mobilization/demobilization engineering, fabrication and operations of gas turbines and gas turbine packages.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "May.")

  • Effectively lead a team of field service representatives
  • Responsible for job reporting, logistic and coordination
  • Mobilize and demobilize gas package and related equipment.
  • Effectively align the gas turbine using laser alignment tool
  • Provide trouble shooting oversite on gas turbine and other applicable equipment.
  • Understand utilization and application of available software.
  • Provide pre-job and post-job analysis (where applicable).
  • Conduct work in accordance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and workplace.
  • Evaluate operational readiness of gas turbine and related equipment.
  • Keep up with spare parts and consumables.
  • May aid in implementation of more efficient working tasks.

Qualifications


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Successfully passes background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Possesses a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  • When on assignment at pad site, daily overtime required and in-person, predictable attendance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

  • 5-10 years of previous mechanical and/or controls experience.
  • knowledge of gas turbine packages and related auxiliary systems is preferred.
  • Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Able to communicate in a technical manner with clients.
  • Ability to work within a team concept to successfully complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to take instruction well and interact with other employees in a positive manner within the framework of assigned work groups.
  • Efficient at Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel.
  • If required to go to a worksite, the work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials and operating conditions.
  • Employees are required to wear company mandated personal protective equipment and must strictly adhere to safety policy.
