Description

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory for the DynaFire, Inc Branch in Jacksonville. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and readiness of our inventory systems in alignment with DynaFire's core values.

Requirements

• Maintain and oversee inventory for the DynaFire Jacksonville Branch warehouse and trucks, ensuring optimal stock levels and accurate record keeping.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and audits, including truck inventory, to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Enter and manage inventory tracking information using our inventory software systems to ensure alignment with physical stock.
• Receive and process requests for equipment and materials, ensuring timely order placement and tracking to meet project demands.
• Coordinate the shipping and receiving operations for all departments, including preparation of returned materials authorizations for defective equipment.
• Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for inventory control and tracking to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager, providing support and serving as a key assistant.
• Manage and update inventory-related data, including job staging, equipment labeling, and password lists for the Installation Department.
• Administer and reconcile time recording and expense systems specific to inventory-related operations.
• Efficiently manage the ordering and stocking of inventory for the Installation Department.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication of order statuses to Project Managers.
• Oversee the preparation and implementation of inventory-related administrative tasks.

Training and Certification Requirements:

• Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Google suite, and Adobe.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical activity and administrative skills.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Limited travel may be required for inventory audits and training.
• Attend and contribute to meetings as required.
• Perform additional duties and support other departments as needed.
