Who we are and why there is an opportunity:

Spy Ninjas: HQ brings the wondrous experience of social media to life by immersing guests in an active gamified world of rides, puzzles, missions, and non-stop adventure for all ages, empowering players to BE THE GAME. Spy Ninjas: HQ is a brand new family entertainment center. Spy Ninjas: HQ is a brand new first of its kind family entertainment center in Las Vegas based on “Spy Ninjas” - the hit family-friendly YouTube series, which has over 44 million subscribers and 15 billion views across multiple branded channels. The park will feature the best in virtual reality, multi-level escape rooms, climbing walls, a trampoline park including dodge ball, over 100 arcade games, ax throwing lanes, and much more!

The Facilities Manager is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities used by Spy Ninjas HQ. The facilities manager’s main duty is to be a viable asset to the team by taking a vested interest in the operations of Spy Ninjas HQ. The facility manager will create a better environment for Spy Ninja HQ guests and team members. This includes effective internal and external communications, technician and vendor-partner relations and procurement.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment and facilities department.
  • Oversees the activities involved in providing quality building maintenance services
  • Ensure the more complex maintenance services are coordinated with the appropriate staff and vendors.
  • Oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of problems related to facilities.
  • Oversee, manage, and lead subcontractor work.
  • Manage IT and Arcade departments including employee schedules and all department team members.
  • Inspections to code will be conducted in all park areas by the facility manager.
  • Identifies process/procedural improvements that will lead to greater efficiency and effectiveness of operations and cost cutting initiatives.
  • Ensures safety and compliance with Health Department, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies standards, regulations, and codes.
  • Install and maintain all plumbing fixtures.
  • Plan work schedules for staff and vendors and supervise work order execution.
  • Collaborates with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement the budget.
  • Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
  • Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
  • Apply knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles for repairs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and safety to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Provides long term solutions and daily support to all operating teams having issues with troubleshooting, problem analysis, equipment failures, etc.
  • Trains employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
  • Complete incident reports and manage all maintenance incidents.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment that will be conducive to maximize morale, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Anticipate facility issues and take action to prevent them.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Success:

  • High School Diploma or GED and 1-3 years of process and project maintenance/management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with demonstrated multi-tasking and project management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, inventory and scheduling software, preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
  • Complete and pass a background check.
