A Simple Affair is an event center located in the heart of Summerlin. We have events of all types: weddings, birthdays, day of celebrations, ect. Our goal in the market is to be a flexible and affordable space for events, and we expect our facilities team to help achieve this goal. We strive to have four team goals also: working as a team, no gossip, caring about everyone personally, and being problem solvers.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Set up Venue for each event assembling and staging items such as tables, chairs, draping, special signs/arbors, etc.
• Direct all facilities questions, concerns and inquiries to Operations Manager
• Work venue turnovers (between events, or during events in the evening).
• Clean bathrooms, take out the garbage, mop floors, etc
• Maintaining and organizing all rooms at the venue.
• Inventory of facilities items and maintaining facilities storage room closet.
• Making sure all venue cameras are functioning and operational.
• Simple maintenance around the venue.
• Follow a google calendar for shifts/assignments.
• Be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Communication with your team members through Slack.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Experience:

• Facilities Maintenance Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)
