TITLE: Delivery System Investment: Policy and Workforce – Program Manager

JOB DISCRIPTION:
Scope of Work:
- Support MassHealth leadership in implementation of Workforce Initiative programs
- Provide project management support for the Workforce Initiative programs, including creation and management of workplans, tracking key deadlines and reporting requirements, and creating and maintaining decision trackers
- Support oversight of the vendors that manage Workforce Initiatives programs including:
o student loan repayment
o residency programs
o community health worker trainings
o competency-based trainings
- Support review and approval processes for various Workforce Initiative program applications and deliverables, such as applications, statements of work, budgets, and project summaries
- Support the development and implementation of future Workforce Initiatives
- Summarize findings of data analysis and incorporate pertinent information into project presentations
- Perform other duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Health Care or Business Administration, Public Health, or a health policy related health care field; or equivalent.
- 3 years of related experience in technical assistance provision, program management, or project management
- Communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, to interact with leadership, staff, providers and other stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with Medicaid program, especially in the Massachusetts landscape
- Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Structured and process-oriented thinker with a strong interest in healthcare workforce sustainability and investment
- Confident taking ownership of workstreams with high-level direction and guidance, and producing proposed plans of action in a self-driven manner
- Significant understanding of health care policy and delivery systems reform both in Massachusetts, and nationally
- Ability to coordinate numerous projects simultaneously to successful completion
