OSD would like to hire a candidate for a six-month, full-time position, in a state agency procurement department.

The Operational Services Division (OSD) would like to hire a candidate for a six-month, full-time assignment, in the agency’s Sourcing unit.

The position is hybrid-eligible, but is not fully remote; the schedule will be coordinated with the hiring manager.

The candidate will join a team that specializes in contract administration, and will perform a variety of administrative (25%) and procurement related (75%) tasks. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, is required, along with superior oral and written communication skills.

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

-scheduling meetings

-maintaining the department out-of-office calendar

-telephone reference checks of applicants for the agency’s contracts

-attending strategic sourcing procurement meetings, and creating and distributing meeting minutes

-procurement tasks in agency procurement systems, including file uploads and database updates

-auditing records/files for accuracy and completeness in agency procurement and vendor sales reporting systems

Temp-to-hire is a possibility, depending on available funding and agency needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.09 per hour
