Responsible for making our #1 critical success factor, safety first, a priority in all tasks and activities performed by self and all others involved. Responsible for cost estimating, progress budgeting, change order pricing, cost forecasting including monthly projections.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Establishment of project estimates and management of cost.
2. Responsible for cost estimating, progress budgeting, change order pricing, cost forecasting including monthly projections.
3. Day to day interaction with owners, general contractors and subcontractors.
4. Responsible for all job related costs including procurement of major materials and equipment
5. Project submittal process, including submission, approvals and release of approvals.
6. Monitoring of all job related costs of labor, rental equipment, materials, subcontractors, etc.
7. Monthly cost analysis.
8. Perform additional assignments as requested.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must possess a working knowledge of the electrical trade with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical project manager. Must maintain valid driver’s license.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Must possess a working knowledge of ACCUBID, along with skills with Microsoft Office products (primarily Excel and Word). Additional scheduling software such as MS Project and Primavera are preferred but not required. Understanding of the Company’s financial software systems, including but not limited to Spectrum, and other software utilized by the CSG companies.
