DuPree Building Specialties if looking for an Assistant Project Manager. The position requires organizational and detail skills along with strong communication skills (verbal and written). We offer on the job training and flexible hours.
1. JOB TITLE and DESCRIPTION:
A. As an Assistant Project Manager you will be expected to work as a member of the management team to help oversee and manage specialty products for commercial building projects. This includes pricing, project coordination, order processing, final project closeout, and any needed customer service. We work directly with commercial general contractors.
2. ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION:
A. Work as a team member of DuPree Building Specialties team in providing support to the project manager.
B. Build and maintain an excellent knowledge of products, pricing, and services to assist the project manager and our customers.
C. Participate and support achievement of marketing plan goals and objectives, including development of new customers and new products.
D. Regularly contact customers to verify the project requirements.
E. Help follow up on all quotes sent out.
F. Help process contracts, purchase orders, make project files, shop drawings and submittals, answer questions, shipments, installations, invoices, etc.
G. Answer phone, help with warehouse receiving and shipping, filing, and other
"small tasks".
H. Monitor costs and coordinate billings to achieve desired cash flow and profitability as set by management.
I. Strive to improve and facilitate project and office procedures.
J. Provide all project closeout requirements including warranty information, owner's manuals, releases, and payment.
K. Assist in maintenance of all catalogs and price lists from the factories.
L. Provide computer assistance and development.
M. Develop an understanding of other job descriptions in DuPree Building Specialties to assist during absences and vacations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
